Congratulations to senior Eloise Martin on being named this week’s Star of the Week!

Eloise took first place in both of her individual races in a victory over MPLS SW, winning the 100 breaststroke and 200 Individual Medley.

She helped lead St. Anthony Swim & Dive to a second-place finish at the Section 2A True Team meet. Eloise was also part of the school record-setting 200 medley relay and finished first in the 100 breaststroke.

Congrats, Eloise!

Boys Tennis Coach Dave Wiggins Announces Retirement

After nine seasons, boys tennis coach Dave Wiggins has announced his plans to retire from coaching.

Coach Wiggins retired from teaching in 2025 and between being a math teacher, tennis coach, and math team coach, he has impacted hundreds of students.

Throughout his coaching career at SAVHS, he earned four Section Coach of the Year awards and led the team to three section runner-up finishes. He also coached multiple students who reached the state tournament.

"One of the most important aspects of the student experience is the coach who is put in front of our participants. We have been very fortunate to have Coach Wiggins leading our boys tennis program for many years,” said Director of Activities Troy Urdahl. “We are excited for him to explore other interests and passions in his retirement."

The search for the next transformational boys tennis coach has begun.
